How soon will I receive the confirmation email after registration? Should I activate my account immediately?

You should receive the confirmation email within a minute from registration. Please check your Spam / Bulk folder if after 5 minutes from registration the confirmation email is not in your inbox yet. The activation link inside the email is valid for 24 hours and any activation attempt with an expired link will display an error. If your activation link has expired you can register again using the same login - it will already be available again.

I have misspelled my email address during sign-up and have no way to activate my Mosaic Site Creator account.

You can create a new account with a different login name or you can try signing up with the same login name 24 hours after the first try. Non-activated accounts are deleted 24h after registration so your login name will be free again at this time.

How can visitors access my website?

Your Mosaic Site Creator website can be viewed by visitors at http://Mosaic Site Creator.com/yourlogin where <yourlogin> is the login name with which you have registered your account. You can also have your Mosaic Site Creator website available under your own registered domain.

Will my Mosaic Site Creator account expire if I don't use it for a long time?

Any free Mosaic Site Creator account which is not used in Admin view for more than 6 months is considered abandoned and eventually deleted to clear space for new accounts. If your account is not attended for a long time the Mosaic Site Creator system will send you several notifications to remind you to login and thus confirm that the account is still in use. The non attendance notifications are sent at the following intervals before deleting the account:

  • 30 days
  • 10 days
  • 5 days
  • 1 day

If you login to your account promptly after receiving the notice it will be considered active again.

Accounts for paid storage upgrade as well as business accounts and custom designed sites are not subject to these attendance requirements. They will remain active even if not used in Admin view for a long period.

My site seems to be deleted. What happened to it? Can I restore it?

If you haven't logged into the Admin view of your free Mosaic Site Creator account for more than 6 months the system will consider this account abandoned and will automatically delete it. This mechanism allows us to provide all features of Mosaic Site Creator for free to all active users. The only requirement is to login to your account at least twice per year. Unfortunately, the content of deleted sites can't be restored. If the site has been created using a 500Mb exclusive storage, we can recharge your activation code so it can be used for a new account.

You can prevent your website from being deleted due to non-attendance by upgrading to a paid Mosaic Site Creator account with more storage or business features. Paid accounts are not subject to attendance requirements.
